Frequently asked questions???
- We just moved to the Charlotte area. Where can our
children play baseball & softball? We maintain a website dedicated to
helping you find youth associations where your children can participate in
youth sports. Go to
WWW.YOUTHBASEBALL.BIZ and click on the "League Finder" link. From there
click on the map to get a list of youth organizations in your area.
- I want to help with my son’s team but I don’t feel
qualified. What can I do? We offer coaches clinics, coach training
programs and 2 different youth coaching dvds. Our best seller "Coaches Clinic
DVD" is designed to help the average dad learn to teach the fundamentals of
hitting, pitching, fielding and throwing. Just under 2 hours of COACHING
INSTRUCTION!
- I’ve coached for years but I want to do my best to
provide the players what they need to move up to the next level. Can you help
me? We offer very affordable
individual or
small group lessons to help your player in any area of his or her game.
We'll cater the instruction to fit your needs! Our
training DVDs are also available. We offer a variety of specialty titles
designed to help.
- What’s the difference between Little League, Dixie
Youth and Cal Ripken Baseball? They are all good national youth
organizations. Your local neighborhood youth association may choose one of
these to affiliate with for insurance and post season opportunities such as
ALL STARS.
- My son struggles at the plate and I don’t know how to
help him. Can you help? We have some of the best hitting
instructors anywhere available to work with your
player. Call and schedule a lesson with one of our hitting specialist today.
We also have a "Hitting Fundamentals DVD" that we've
sold to thousands of folks all over the world.
- My son wants to pitch but I can’t help him. Would you
suggest private lessons or group instruction? Starting with private
lessons can be tough for some players. Some work better in a small group
instructional atmosphere and maybe as they advance get them some private, one
on one instruction. Our "Pitching Mechanics DVD" is a
great starter for young pitchers. David Darwin, 8 years pro experience, AAA
all star, Duke U
4 year starter and pride of West Mecklenburg High School is our DVD pitching
instructor.
- What’s the cost for one on one lessons for my 6 year
old? The cost for a private lesson is listed on our
facility
prices page but often a young player should start with group instruction.
Call us for more details about small group classes.
- Should we work on hitting for the whole 55 minute
lesson? Hitting for whole lesson is tough. Not many players less than
high school age can physically hold up for 55 minutes much less concentrate on
one task for that long. We often break lessons into 2 or 3 parts. for example;
30 minutes of hitting and 30 minutes of fielding. Pitching is the same. We
often break a lesson into 30 minutes of pitching and 30 minutes of hitting.
You choose!
- My son wants to play high school baseball next year.
What can I do to help him get ready? Speed & agility play a big role in
high school athletics. We offer a great speed and agility program or we can
incorporate speed and agility work into a lesson package. We adapt as needed.
- How do I make sure my son gets “SEEN” by the college
recruiters? You don't You can't buy a spot for you player. If he can
play the colleges will see him. If he deserves a look they will find him.
Playing high school baseball and participating in good competitive league play
will get him what he needs!
- Does my son have to play on a “Travel Team” to make
his high school team? No, good fundamentals and good attitude don't go
unnoticed by high school coaches. While there is always a difference of
opinion when the cuts are made most often the high school coaches pick the
right players, regardless of who they played with or where they played in the
off season.
- Is there a difference in teaching fundamentals with
little guys and high school players? No, there is no difference in the
fundamentals. We do expect the older players to do them better and faster but
the fundamentals stay the same.
- How long does it take to get my DVD order? We
make every effort to ship all orders the same day as we receive them. Some
days the due to the number of orders we are attempting to process we are
forced to ship out the next day.
- Is using my credit card online safe on your site?
Our shopping cart software is completely secure. Your order is processed
through a nationwide credit card processor. We never see you card number and
do not keep any information on file other than name, address, phone and email.

terminal processing machine as you give it to us so we do not have your card
number on an order in our file. We are very sensitive about protecting your
