HQ4 Clippers Baseball Program (10U - 17U)
The goal of the Clippers developmental travel team program (10U - 17U) is to teach players the skills and game knowledge needed to advance their game to the highest level of play. The Charlotte area is one of the top rated baseball markets in the country, as many of the high school programs in the area are very strong and the odds of making these teams are very tough. The Clippers program is designed to train players on the physical and mental aspects of the game, so they will know what it takes to make a top high school baseball program and continue on to the next level.
We are proud to announce a new partnership beginning in Spring 2013 with the United States Performance Center. David Koerner, Facility Director at USPC, has 18 years experience in training top athletes including college and professional players, as well as Olympic athletes, from many different sports. This new training protocol will focus on improving players' core strength, speed, quickness, and overall athleticism. We are hoping to instill in our players that to be a top baseball player, you must also become a top athlete. By combining the HQ4 Staff's baseball expertise with the USPC Staff's athletic training expertise, we have developed a unique and effective developmental baseball program to prepare players for the next level. We want serious, dedicated baseball players who are willing to work hard to achieve their goals.
