We have the Best Program:
Coach Bagwell has developed a plan for each day, designed to teach your player the proper fundamentals of the game: throwing, fielding and hitting.
Players are grouped by age and skill level, and then taught a throwing progression appropriate for their age group. We work on proper throwing mechanics every day.
Players are given specific defensive position training. Each player is asked to choose a primary position and a secondary position (pitcher, catcher, infield, or outfield). Players work on their primary position for three days and their secondary position for two days.
Players are taught base running skills each day, including Coach Bagwell's 5-man base running drill.
Players are put through "situations" drills on the field to teach defensive strategy, and to explain where the proper play is in different situations.
Players are taught the fundamentals of hitting, with various drills including dry swing drills, T drills, front toss drills and soft toss. They also get live, on field pitching. We hit every day!
Fridays after lunch we have fun with our famous Egg Toss and Home Run Derby.
We have the Best Camps:
HQ4Baseball & Softball Summer Camps are the Number 1 camp program in the greater Charlotte area. Over the past five years, we have helped over 1200 young players improve their game while having fun doing it!
Our camps are day camps, running Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm each day. Camps are held at area facilities with multiple fields, to accommodate our numbers and allow us to split players into groups by age and send them to different fields.
The price of camp includes secondary insurance coverage on each player, and each player receives an HQ4Baseball & Softball Summer Camp
T Shirt.
The dates and locations of the 2010 summer camps will be posted on our website in January! Don't miss out!
Little Slugger Indoor Summer Camps
HQ4Baseball & Softball offers a separate summer camp program for ages 4 to 7, for young players not quite ready for five hours per day of training outdoors. The Little Sluggers Indoor Summer Camps offer fundamental training, but it is three hours per day, from 10 am to 1 pm, and it is at the HQ4Baseball & Softball Indoor Facility. Players will learn throwing, fielding hitting, base running, and more in a FUN, SAFE environment. The 2010 schedule will be posted on the website in January, 2010.
