JENNIFER BANAS - Former player at University of Illinois at Chicago

Coach Banas is in the top five for every category for all time pitching records at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and pitched in the College World Series in 1994. One of the top fastpitch pitching instructors in the area, Coach Jennifer does Private Lessons and Fastpitch Softball Pitching Clinics.


JASMINE YOUNG - Former player at South Carolina State University

Coach Young was a four year player at shortstop for South Carolina State University. She is also an experienced travel team coach. Coach Young does private lessons and is an instructor for our Winter Training Programs. She also is an instructor in our HQ4Baseball & Softball Summer Camp Program.

CHET GREESON - Head Coach at Hopewell High School

Coach Greeson played college baseball at Western Carolina. After graduating, he joined the WCU coaching staff under Coach Jack Leggett, before becoming a lead instructor for Doyle Baseball Academy. Coach Greeson then went on to begin his career as a high school head coach, and is currently the head coach at Hopewell High School. Coach Greeson has been an associate scout for the Kansas City Royals Organization. He was the Head Coach for the Kannapolis American Legion Post 115. He is also a senior instructor in the HQ4 Clippers Program working with ALL of our teams. Coach Greeson is a lead instructor in our Summer Camps and Winter Training Programs and is available for private lessons in softball and baseball

Molly Malone - Former pitcher at St. Bonaventure University

Pitched in Atlantic 10 tournament in 2005 and 2006. NFCA All-american Scholar-Athlete. She was Pitching Coach at St. Bonaventure in 2007 & 2008. Coach Malone does private lessons as well as clinics.

SHELTON GRANT - Former player at Western Carolina University

1986-1990 played varsity baseball at Western Carolina under then head coach Jack Leggett. Started two years as the Catamounts left fielder and lead off batter and was a member of two Southern Conference championship teams. After a solid college career, Shelton went on to work six years in the New York Yankees minor league system in a administrative capacity. During this time he began instructing and coaching young baseball players in the Piedmont Triad Area. Shelton has a strong dedication to the game and believes that with hard work, commitment, and proper instruction any young person can achieve at any endeavor. Shelton is available for team, group & individual softball instruction.
